The system for expressing which relocation countries you would prefer has changed. Before, during your full registration appointment for relocation (“Relocation interview”), it was possible to make a list of 8 countries to which you would prefer to be relocated. The Greek Asylum Service has confirmed that this is now no longer possible. Instead, you will have the chance to state one country of preference and give reasons why you would like to be relocated there. The Asylum Service can't always take this into consideration. It is quite possible that you will be given another country. In a similar way, the old system with a list of 8 preferences was also not a guarantee and many people got countries which were not on their list.
