Germany relocates 150 people after months of inaction

In the last few days, Germany relocated 150 people from Greece, more than quadrupling their total number of relocations from 42 to 192. This comes as a surprise, after months in which Germany relocated practically no one. From the beginning of March until this week, Germany relocated only 5 people. Back on the 16th of March, the European Commission recommended EU member states to relocate 20,000 people by the 16th of May. Europe is still far from hitting this target.

قامت المانيا بتوطين 150 شخص من اليونان في الايام القليلة الماضية لترفع عدد الاشخاص الذين قبلتهم من خلال هذا البرنامج الى اكثر من اربعة اضعاف من 42 الى 192 شخص. وجائت هذه كمفاجئة بعد اشهر لم تقم المانيا بتوطين اي شخص. وقامت المانيا بتوطين 5 اشخاص فقط ما بين مطلع مايو/ايار الى هذا الاسبوع. وفي تاريخ 16 اذار قامت المفوضية الاوروبية بتوصية اعضاء الاتحاد الاروبي لتوطين 20،000 شخص الى تاريخ 16 مايو/أيار. ولازالت اوروبا بعيدة جدا من الوصول الى هذا عدد.
